This heavy duty Geared Anvil Tree Pruner is part of the Darlac Expert Tree Pruning rnage and can be used in conjunction with either of the telescopic poles in this range. Combining a rack & pinion with quad pulleys, the amount of effort required is greatly reduced. The rope applies a downward force to the tip of the lever arm which in turn moves the blade in an upward direction through the ratchet, to sever branches up to 50 mm with ease. The serrated anvil blade is made from chrome plated steel for rust resistance and will grip the branch whilst cutting.
